The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has launched a satellite office at the Robinsons Galleria Ortigas in Quezon City in a bid to make it easier and comfortable for traffic violators to settle their fines.

MMDA acting chairman Don Artes said the new satellite office will provide services for the fine settlement for traffic violations issued by the agency, lifting of alarms for drivers who have been placed on the alarm list of the Land Transportation Office, and processing of drivers' clearances verifying that they have no pending traffic violations.

He said the new MMDA Redemption Satellite Office is located at the Lingkod Pinoy Center, Lower Ground Floor of Robinsons Galleria Ortigas and is open from Mondays to Saturdays, starting at 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Currently, the settlement of MMDA-issued traffic violation tickets is done through at the MMDA Head Office on Julia Vargas Avenue in Barangay Ugong, Pasig City, or through designated payment centers.

The opening of the new office is part of the partnership with Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC).

“The goal of this partnership with RLC is to make settlement of traffic fine-related concerns easier and more accessible to our valued stakeholders," said Artes.

“This is part of the agency's steadfast commitment to bring government services closer to the transacting public,” he added.
