SB19's Stell & Pablo eager to inspire young singers in 'The Voice Kids'
At a glance
SB19's Pablo joins as one of the coaches in the world’s most popular and beloved singing competition for kids, the ITV Studios format "The Voice Kids," which is finally making its big debut on GMA Network.
During an interview for "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda" last Friday, Pablo expressed his excitement about sharing his musical knowledge with children.
"Masaya dahil I get to impart my knowledge lalong lalo na sa mga bata. Kasi sanay na ako sa mga bata," said Pablo when asked about his debut in "The Voice Kids."
Pablo added: "Nandito ako sa point in life na gusto ko talagang i-share yung knowledge pagdating sa kung paano magperform at matulungan sila kung paano nila ma-deliver yung best performance nila."
Stell of SB19 also shared his reaction when he learned about Pablo being a coach in the reality competition.
So parang he will add a different energy with the team," Stell said.
Last year, the group Vocalmyx under Team Stell was declared the grand champion in "The Voice Generations."
Asked if he was pressured to win again this year, Stell said: "Hindi ko iniisip na dapat manalo uli ako.
Pablo also shared his game plan as a coach for the kids.
Dapat ma-explain ko na dapat in a way maiintindihan din nila at ma-absorb nila bawa't information," he said.
Stell said he never imagined that he would be one of the coaches for the show.
"Until now hindi ko talaga na-imagine.
Until now," Stell also said.
Stell also mentioned that the group never discussed who is the most popular among SB19 members.
"Hindi po. Feeling ko lahat kami same-same.
Pablo also shared the same sentiments when it comes to popularity among members.
Go ahead.
"Kami pa yung magpi-picture sa fan at kay Stell. Siguro kasi alam namin yung struggles ng bawa't isa. At sasabihin ko lang is you deserve that," Pablo added.
Coaching styles
Stell and Pablo mentioned their coaching styles for "The Voice Kids."
“Ang pinakamahalaga po sa ‘kin, lalo na sa ‘yung tuturuan na namin ‘yung mga bata, ‘yung touching the people. Kumbaga ‘yung mararamdaman ng mga tao ‘yung kinakanta mo," Pablo said.
Pablo added: "Kasi kapag naramdaman nila, parang everything else, makakalimutan nila at matatandaan nila ‘yung performance mo.
Stell said: “I think more than my guidance, mas importante rin ‘yung guidance ng parents.
