ILOILO CITY – Police seized P3.9-million worth of suspected shabu in Western Visayas from September 11 to 13.
The Police Regional Office-6 said that 586 grams of shabu were seized from 29 suspected drug pushers in 27 anti-drug operations from 6 a.m. on September 11 to 5:59 a.m. on September 13.

“These statistics show your hard work and commitment to hold accountable those who are involved in illegal drug trade. Despite these arrests, be reminded to maintain the intensity of our campaign at a high level,” said PRO-6 chief Police Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky on Friday, September 13.
The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) recovered shabu worth P918,000 from a high-value drug suspect in Barangay Vista Alegre on September 12.
The Iloilo City Police Office confiscated P462,400 worth of shabu and arrested five drug suspects in Barangay Lopez Jaena Norte, La Paz District on September 12.
Wanky warned individuals involved in the illegal drugs trade.
“To those found involved in the illegal trade, if you will not stop and surrender to authorities, your days are coming because you will be the next subject of our police operation,” he added.
Police Lt. Col. Arnel Solis, PRO-6 chief information officer, said suspects face charges for violating Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
