P4.4-M shabu recovered in Zamboanga Sibugay

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Authorities recovered suspected shabu valued at P4.4 million and arrested three drug pushers in a buy-bust operation in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay on Wednesday, September 11.

The suspects were identified as Arman Aljas Estrada, 24, of Barangay Cayamcam, Tungawan, Zamboanga Sibugay; and Ronnel Evedientes Jamin, 35, of Barangay Tictapul, this city, and Jomari Gonzales Sanson, 24, of Barangay Curuan here.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency said they secured a transaction with five suspected drug pushers.

A buy-bust operation was conducted but the suspects sensed they were dealing with by authorities and escaped on board their vehicle.

A shootout ensued and three suspects were arrested and two managed to escape.

A manhunt operation is underway against the escaped suspects.
