LEGAZPI CITY, Albay – Lawmen recovered suspected shabu valued at P3.5 million in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Vinagre, Tigaon, Camarines Sur on Thursday night, September 12.

Police Lt. Col. Malu Calubaquib, Police Regional Office-5 spokesperson, identified the suspect as Domeng, 34, of Barangay Hibago, Ocampo, Camarines Sur, considered a high-value target in the illegal drugs trade.
Domeng also yielded two guns.
Calubaquib said the operation was part of the PRO-5’s intensified anti-drugs campaign in the region.
The suspect and drug evidence were taken to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Camarines Sur. Domeng’s gun is in the custody of the Tigaon MPS for disposition.
PRO-5 chief Police Brig. Gen. Andre P. Dizon said that the operation is proof of the PNP and their partner agencies' determination to make the community safe.
