ICanServe's 'Pink Room' auction set for September 14

Themed as "A Gallery For Good," the event combines art, fashion, and advocacy

Advocacy group ICanServe, in partnership with the Villar Group’s Brittany Hotel, is gearing up for the highly anticipated auction at The Pink Room on September 14. Themed as “A Gallery For Good,” the event combines art, fashion, and advocacy to support breast cancer awareness, early detection, and treatment initiatives.

The Pink Room, opened last week at Brittany Hotel BGC, displays 27 pairs of Nike Air Force 1 shoes transformed into unique artworks by some of the Philippines' top artists, including National Artist Benedicto "Bencab" Cabrera. These one-of-a-kind creations will be up for bidding during the auction, with all proceeds going directly to ICanServe’s breast cancer programs.

ICanServe chairman Crisann Celdran, founding president Kara Magsanoc-Alikpala, and AllValue president Camille Villar led the gallery's opening on September 4. Villar, a staunch advocate for breast cancer awareness, emphasized the importance of supporting initiatives like ICanServe in helping women and men navigate the challenges of breast cancer.

“I am happy that we can help ICanServe in bringing to life this partnership, especially for a cause that is dear to my advocacies,” said Villar, who as a lawmaker had filed a measure promoting breast cancer’s early detection and prevention.

The Auction

With the auction date fast approaching, art enthusiasts, sneakerheads, and philanthropists alike are encouraged to visit The Pink Room at Brittany Hotel BGC before the September 14 closing. Attendees can view the artwork in person and prepare to place their bids during the auction, where they’ll have the opportunity to own a unique piece of art while supporting a worthy cause.

Alongside the art exhibit and auction, Brittany Hotel is hosting “Lace Up for the Cause,” an activity encouraging participants to walk or run, with each step contributing to a charitable donation for ICanServe.
