Fraternity member shot dead in Laguna

SAN PABLO CITY, Laguna – A fraternity member was shot dead in Purok 2, Barangay San Pedro, this city, on Thursday afternoon, September 12.

Police identified the victim as Zeus Javier Magnaye, a member of Scouts Royale Brotherhood (SRB) fraternity and a resident of Barangay San Lorenzo here.

Investigation said the victim on his way home after accompanying a woman to her house when two men, one of who was disguised as a woman, on board a motorcycle blocked his path and shot him.

Magnaye was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead from bullet wounds.

The suspects fled but were arrested in a checkpoint in Barangay Santo Anghel here, said San Pablo City police chief Lt. Col. Wilhelmino Saldivar Jr.
