The distribution of the P5,000 cash assistance was held during the "Araw ng Pangulo" program celebrating the birthday of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. at the Makati Coliseum.

"This financial assistance is not just a mere payout; it represents the care and concern of our government for every Filipino, particularly the most vulnerable in our society," the mayor said.

Binay also expressed her birthday wishes to the President, as she cited his dedication and hard work.

"On this special day, we celebrate our President’s birthday and recognize his unwavering commitment to serving the nation. President Marcos continues to inspire us all, and we wish him better health, happiness, and success in all his endeavors for the country," Binay stated.

The Kadiwa ng Pangulo, a local market activity, was also held at the Makati City Hall quadrangle. It offered residents various goods of local producers at affordable prices.

Based on the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 4, series of 2024, AKAP will be implemented as a targeted social assistance program for individuals who may not have access to regular assistance.
