Omega X's Hangyeom joins cast of 'Jazz for Two The Movie' at Jecheon film festival

K-pop boy band Omega X’s Hangyeom recently appeared on the opening red carpet of the 20th Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (JIMFF) held in Jecheon City, Chungcheongbuk in South Korea.

The festival was held at the Jecheon Arts Center and featured showings of 98 movies from 37 countries and performances by 26 music groups.

Hangyeom also participated in the GV (Guest Visit) event after the showing of “Jazz for Two The Movie” on Sept. 7.

In addition to his debut at the Jecheon International Music & Film Festival, Hangyeom communicated with fans and the audience through the GV event, along with his fellow actors and the director of “Jazz for Two The Movie.”

As an actor, Hangyeom shared behind-the-scenes stories as well as his views and ideas so the audience could enjoy the movie in greater depth.

“Jazz for Two The Movie” is directed by Song Su-lim, who also directed “A Shoulder to Cry On” (with Omega X’s Jaehan and Yechan) and the drama adaptation of “Jazz For Two.”

The film depicts a sweet love story between two young people who met in high school, slowly getting close to each other through arguments and hardships. It is based on the drama with the same title, which began airing in March 2024 and was a debut drama for Hangyeom as an actor.

In the drama, Hangyeom played Suh Do-yoon, a playful drum player at Wooyeon Arts School with an optimistic personality who is hiding a longtime secret crush. It also starred Ji Ho-geun, Kim Jin-kwon and Kim Jung-ha.

Currently, Omega X members are active in various fields such as acting and music activities. The group is planning to continue communicating with fans through individual and group activities ahead.
