Man threatening to leak sensitive videos of ex-girlfriend nabbed in Rizal

A 20-year-old man was arrested and is facing multiple charges after assaulting and blackmailing his ex-girlfriend with sensitive videos in Angono, Rizal, on Wednesday, September 11.

The Rizal Police Provincial Office (PPO) identified the suspect as "Vince." He was arrested following a complaint filed against him by his former live-in partner.

According to the victim, the suspect physically assaulted her and threatened to leak her sensitive videos if she refused to meet with him.

Personnel from the Angono Municipal Police Station immediately responded, resulting in the successful arrest of the suspect.

During the arrest, police also recovered an improvised shotgun and approximately four grams of marijuana from the suspect.

The suspect is currently detained at the Angono Custodial Facility and will face charges under Republic Act 10591 (Firearms Law), RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), and RA 9262 (Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act).
