BIR records 10-million visits to web portal


Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Commissioner Romeo D. Lumagui Jr. announced that the newly launched BIR web portal has exceeded 10 million visitors. This milestone follows the portal's public introduction during the agency's recent 120th anniversary celebration.

The web portal is a key initiative of Commissioner Lumagui, aligned with his excellent taxpayer service and digitalization programs.

"The new BIR web portal has now surpassed 10 million visitors since its launching demonstrating our commitment to modernizing the agency with a focus on enhancing taxpayer services. We encourage all taxpayers to visit and explore the new portal," said Lumagui.

"The anniversary celebration also highlighted several major achievements which also included the the introduction of it's new logo and slogan, "Bagong BIR sa Bagong Pilipinas," underscoring the agency's mission to become more professional and taxpayer-friendly. 

Additionally, the BIR received the Civil Service Commission PRIME-HRM Maturity Level II Accreditation, empowering it to approve and finalize appointments, streamlining the hiring process.
