ILOILO CITY – Police here seized 210 grams of suspected shabu worth P1.43 million in 24 hours.

The Iloilo City Police Office-City Drug Enforcement Unit nabbed five suspected drug pushers in buy-bust operations from 4 a.m. on Monday, September 10, to 4 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11.
ICPO chief Police Col. Kim Legada lauded the successful operations led by newly installed ICPO-CDEU chief Police Capt. Ryan Christ Inot.
“This success reflects the ICPO’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of our community. We will continue to work together and tirelessly fight against the illegal drug trade that harms our society,” said Legada.
One-hundred fifty-grams grams of shabu worth over P1 million were recovered from a high-value drug suspect identified as Boss on Tuesday in Barangay San Pedro, Molo District.
Jovan and Jay were caught with 35 grams of shabu valued at P238,000 in Barangay Tabuc Suba, Jaro District and Jer and Manny yielded 25 grams of shabu worth P170,000 in Barangay Calajunan, Mandurriao District.
Police Capt. Shella Mae Sangrines, ICPO spokesperson, said suspects face drug-related cases.
