WEDDING IN THE CLOUDS! Frontline Pilipinas showbiz anchor KaladKaren and British partner Luke Wrightson are married

After 12 years of being together, TV5 news anchor and actress Kaladkaren and British partner Luke Wrightson finally married in North Yorkshire, England, on Sept. 8.

KaladKare broke the special news on Instagram as she shared wedding photos with Luke. 

KaladKaren was stunning in a simple wedding gown, while Luke donned a suit created by famous Filipino fashion designer Francis Libiran.

Among the celebrities who greeted them in the comment section of KaladKaren's post include Pia Wurtzbach, MJ Marfori, Kim Rodriguez, BJ Pascual, Francis Libiran, 

In July 2023, KaladKaren talked about her long overdue wedding with Luke, which was initially planned for 2022.

Earlier in 2023, she was supposed to go to England to arrange things for the wedding. Still, it was delayed again after she won best supporting actress at the first Metro Manila Summer Film Festival and later joined TV5 for Frontline Pilipinas.

KaladKaren made history as the first transgender woman to be nominated and to win the acting honor.

Also, in 2023, KaladKaren was asked about having a baby.

"Iniisip namin magka-baby pero sana pag mga 35 na ako, so mga four to five years from now. Kailangan muna nating mag-ipon at mahirap magkaroon ng anak at ang daming responsibilidad na kaakibat niyan.

If they ever plan to search for a surrogate mother, KaladKaren shared how she learned about the process from Joel Cruz, a perfume magnate who has eight kids via surrogacy.

"Naka-chika ko siya, tapos kinuwento niya sa akin kung magkano, saan ka pwede magpagawa; umaabot pala yan ng 12 million per set! Kunwari yung kambal niya ng una. 12 million pala yun. So ako nagkwenta tuloy ako. Parang in five years kikita ba ako ng 12 million? After ba nun may pampabuhay ba ako sa mga bata? Yun ang iniisip ko e, di ba. Siguro kung magiging multi-millionaire ako bakit hindi ko gawing apat na set ng kambal?" she said.
