Game is at 6 p.m. with the winner of the highly-anticipated duel setting up a championship date with early finalist Creamline Cool Smashers.

The Cool Smashers, who are gunning for a rare Grand Slam feat, already secured a finals ticket after a four-set win over the HD Spikers last Monday, Sept. 8 to remain unscathed in three matches.

Cignal and Kurashiki, meanwhile, are tied at second with identical 2-1 cards after both bowed to Creamline.

The HD Spikers are facing the match with eagerness to redeem themselves for another chance to face the Cool Smashers in their bid for that first-ever league title.

The Ablaze, meanwhile, are on a mission to retain the crown they won in a dramatic five-set finale against the Cool Smashers last year to become the first overseas team to win a PVL title.

Cignal will rely heavily on the attacking prowess of Venezuelan import MJ Perez, but she will need ample support from her teammates, including Ces Molina, Roselyn Doria, Ria Meneses, Chin Basas, Jackie Acuña and setter Gel Cayuna.

The possible return of Vanie Gandler, fresh from her duties with the Alas Pilipinas national team, also bolsters the HD Spikers' offensive capabilities.

Kurashiki, however, remains undeterred, looking to unleash its vaunted firepower led by Saya Taniguchi, Saki Tanabe, Mami Gondo, Honoka Doi, Yukino Yano, Cing Low Mei and masterful setter Kyoka Oshima.

Meanwhile, Creamline seeks to keep its momentum going heading to the finals when it faces Farm Fresh at 4 p.m.
