The 2024 online Bar examinations resume on Wednesday, Sept. 11, in 13 local testing centers (LTCs) nationwide.
As of 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10, the Supreme Court (SC), which administers the annual exams, could not say how many examinees are expected to take the tests.
The third and final day of the examinations will be on Sunday, Sept. 15.
During the start of the exams last Sunday, Sept. 8, the SC said that 10,483 examinees reported in 13 LTCs.
Traditionally, the number examinees dwindle as the examinations progress. As in previous exams, some examinees decided to quit after taking the first subject.
The subjects in the Sept. 11 exams are Civil Law in the morning and Labor and Social Legislation in the afternoon.
On Sept. 15, the subjects to be taken up are Criminal Law in the morning and Remedial Law and Legal and Judicial Ethics with Practical Exercises in the afternoon.
The results of the examinations are expected to be released before the year end, the oath taking and signing of the roll of attorneys would be held immediately thereafter.
