#WalangPasok: Muntinlupa LGU suspends classes for Sept. 2

Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon announced the suspension of classes for Sept. 2 due to bad weather.

Classes in Muntinlupa in all levels in public and private schools are suspended on Sept. 2, the mayor said.

Biazon said the decision was based on information and data from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) and Muntinlupa City Department of Disaster Resilience and Management.

He said it was estimated that the bad weather will bring strong and continuous rains until Sept. 2 due to tropical depression “Enteng.” Heavy rains poured in Muntinlupa Sunday night.

At 11 p.m. on Sept. 1, PAGASA issued an orange rainfall warning for Quezon, and yellow rainfall warning for Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Metro Manila and Cavite.
