VP Sara shows 'plantita' side in Bohol

Since the pandemic, Vice President Sara Duterte has considered herself a plantita, often spending time in her home garden and finding plants to take home from her travels.

Her latest excursion in Bohol province is no different as she posted on Sunday, Sept. 1, some photos of her in a garden.

I visited a garden that plants and cultivates beautiful plants when I visited the province of Bohol),” she shared.

I was in awe of the beauty of the plants and their crops and I couldn’t help but bring some back to Manila),” she said.

The Vice President shared that she developed her love for plants and has considered herself a “plantita,” a term referring to those who collect plants, since the Covid-19 pandemic.

It was, after all, during the pandemic when Filipinos turned to planting as a way to destress themselves.

Since the pandemic, I grew of fond of collecting and planting plants at home),” the Vice President said.

Duterte also expressed gratitude for the opportunity to bring home the plants she chose.
