Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez ordered the suspension of classes at all levels for both public and private schools upon the recommendation of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) due to Tropical Storm Enteng on Monday, September 2.
The mayor also suspended works in the city government except for offices delivering basic social services and emergency response.

The Parañaque Emergency Local Operation Center recorded floods as of 1:41 a.m. in nine communities in the city which include Barangay San Dionisio, San Isidro, Sto. Nino in District I, BF Homes, Don Bosco, Merville, Moowalk, San Antonio, and Sun Valley in District II.
