LPA east of E. Visayas develops into tropical depression, named ‘Enteng’

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that the Low Pressure Area (LPA) east of Eastern Visayas developed into a tropical depression at 8 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 1.

It has been named “Enteng,” making it the first tropical cyclone of September and the fifth this year.

PAGASA will issue its first advisory on this tropical cyclone at 11 a.m.
