The local governments of San Juan, Mandaluyong, Pasig, and Marikina suspended classes in all levels in both public and private schools in their localities following the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration's (PAGASA) issuance of a Heavy Rain Fall Warning raised at the "Yellow Warning Level" in Metro Manila.
Malacañang had earlier suspended school classes at all levels in NCR due to the weather disturbance.
"In view of the inclement weather brought about by Tropical Storm “Enteng,” classes in public and private schools at all levels within the National Capital Region (NCR) on 02 September 2024 are hereby suspended," the Palace said early Monday morning.
