BYD Philippines displays Seagull EV ahead of September launch

BYD Cars Philippines, in collaboration with ACMobility, is giving the public an early glimpse of the BYD Seagull EV at the ongoing BYD Tech Tour in Ayala Trinoma Mall, Quezon City. The Seagull EV is the smallest vehicle in the brand's lineup and this pre-launch appearance of the new electric hatchback is designed to generate interest and excitement ahead of its official debut in September.

The subcompact EV is quite the looker, with its unique angular design offering a fresh and modern look that's a bit of a departure from the rest of the brand's offerings. The vehicle aims to combine affordability with cutting-edge features, and is looking to shake the entry-level EV segment locally. The Seagull offers space that's perfect for those looking for an urban EV, but find current electric hatchbacks too small. 

Equipped with BYD's Blade battery, the Seagull EV is capable of anywhere from 305 to 405 kilometers of maximum range, depending on the battery capacity.

The introduction of the BYD Seagull aligns with ACMobility's mission to promote electrified transportation in the Philippines. The new model joins an impressive lineup of electric vehicles that BYD has brought to the local market, and continues the momentum created by the recently launched Sealion 6 DM-i SUV. 

The BYD Tech Tour is happening until the 1st of September at the Trinoma Mall.
