TV5 issues statement on alleged incident between employee vs independent contractor

TV5 Network has issued an official statement on an alleged incident involving an employee and an independent contractor.

In a statement issued on Aug. 8, the Kapatid Network stated that it is aware of the incident and is currently investigating.

Unconfirmed reports said that a production manager was allegedly involved in the case.

The full statement:

"TV5 management is aware of the matter regarding an alleged incident between a TV5 employee and an independent contractor.

"We have released the necessary Notice To Explain and are conducting an investigation to determine the facts so we may take the appropriate action. We have reached out to the persons concerned and are gathering information. Rest assured that the rights and welfare of all parties shall be protected.

"TV5 remains committed to fostering a safe working environment. We ask everyone to kindly reserve judgment pending our investigation."
