Pialago steps down as LTFRB spokesperson to 'pursue new challenges '

Celine Pialago has resigned from her position as spokesperson for the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), effective August 31.
Pialago announced her decision on Friday, August 9, citing her desire to "pursue new challenges" in her career.
In her resignation letter, Pialago expressed her appreciation for the growth and development opportunities she experienced at the LTFRB, acknowledging that the decision to leave was difficult.
“This decision has not been an easy one, as I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working with the agency and appreciate the opportunities for growth and development that have been afforded to me," she wrote.
Pialago did not provide specific reasons for her resignation but she thanked her colleagues for their "support and collaboration" during her tenure.
She was appointed as LTFRB spokesperson in November 2023.
Before her stint at the LTFRB, Pialago served as the spokesperson for the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) from 2019 to 2021.
