Bianca Pagdanganan fumbled with a 1-over-par 73 to slip from medal contention to a share of 13th place in the penultimate round of the women’s golf competition at the 2024 Paris Olympics on Friday at Le Golf National.

Pagdanganan, who started the third round at joint sixth and five strokes behind solo leader Morgane Metraux of Switzerland, stumbled with four bogeys against two birdies on the front nine before closing the round with a birdie on the par-5 18th hole to tally a three-round total of 214.
She now trails co-leaders Metraux and Lydia Ko of New Zealand, who fired 71 and 68, respectively, for 207.
Meanwhile, Dottie Ardina propelled 13 notches to solo 23rd after posting a 69 for 217.
After a bogey-free front nine that involved three birdies, Ardina blew hot and cold in the last seven holes where she shot a bogey on the 12th, a double bogey on the 16th, a birdie on the 17th and an eagle on the last hole.
