Christian Pagaran leads Perpetual's 20-man basketball lineup which aims to exceed expectations in the centennial season of the NCAA.

Pagaran will be backstopped by John Cedrick Abis, John Paul Boral, Angelo Gelsano and Nathaniel Sevilla for the centennial celebration of the collegiate league which unfurls on Sept. 7 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Lyceum of the Philippines University serves as the season's host school.
"We are getting there, every game they improve as a team, In fact, hopefully we will get to our peak at the right time," said new Altas head coach Olsen Racela.
"We are still in the process of selecting the short list of rookies to fill the lineup including Mark Gojo Cruz, Bryle Mascariñas, Justine Kyle Thompson, Eman Pizarro, Axl Manuel, Brix Manuel, Mark Danag, Iñigo Montemayor, among others," he said.
Cruz, who averaged 15 points, six rebounds and four assists per game during his Junior Altas year, is just excited to bring his talent to the senior's team
"Pagkakuha po sa akin ni Coach O, i worked out po agad during the off-season yung mg weakness ko and gagawin ko po ang lahat ng best ko para makatulong sa team," Cruz said.
Perpetual barely missed the Final Four last season after ending the eliminations round at 10-8.
