Globe Prepaid customers can soon upgrade their SIM cards to eSIMS, and retain their original number, through the GlobeOne app.

There will be a compatibility check to ensure your device supports eSIM. Even without using the app, you can check if your device supports eSIM by going to Settings in the cellular and network options.

To upgrade your physical SIM to an eSIM, simply go to the GlobeOne app, click on SIM Hub > Change SIM > eSIM and follow the on-screen instructions on your device. Then install the eSIM by scanning the QR code from your email and enjoy your new eSIM with the same mobile number.
