Church pastor's half-body found floating in Pangasinan

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – The half-body of a church pastor was found floating on the shoreline of Sitio Pao, Barangay Ilio-Ilio, Burgos, this province, on August 4.

Police identified the victim as Eduardo Natividad Guille of Barangay Seselangen, Sual, Pangasinan.

Residents discovered the body without its upper half and wearing navy blue pants with green belt. 

Police retrieved the body which was taken to the Gabuyo Funerals Homes in Poblacion, Dasol, Pangasinan. 

Relatives positively identified the victim at the funeral parlor through the pants he was wearing.

Burgos deputy chief of police Polie Lt. Regi Fernandez said the victim’s relatives were surprised about his fate.

The victim was a good father and had a good reputation in the church and community, Guille’s relatives said.

Follow-up investigation is ongoing.
