Calabarzon's most wanted nabbed in Rizal

A 20-year-old man who was tagged as Calabarzon region's most wanted person was arrested by members of the Antipolo Component City Police Station on Tuesday, August 6 in Barangay Calawis, Antipolo, Rizal.

Police identified the suspect as Lan, also a resident of Barangay Calawis.

Based on the police report, Lan was wanted for raping his girlfriend who is a minor this year.

The suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court for the case of statutory rape without recommended bail.

He is currently detained at the Antipolo Custodial Facility.

Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) head Col. Felipe Maraggun lauded the officers for Lan's arrest and assured the public of the police force's dedication and commitment in upholding the law.
