Several business federations commended the Bureau of Customs' Accounts Management Office (BOC-AMO) for improving its operational efficiency and client service.
The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce Philippines (FICCP), the Practicing Customs Brokers Association of the Philippines (PCBAP), and the Chamber of Customs Brokers, Inc. (CCBI) said that the BOC-AMO's reforms led to improvements in handling renewal applications.
"We take this opportunity to congratulate you on the many positive reforms that we are experiencing firsthand when it comes to huge improvements on how things are done at the bureau," FICCP stated, citing Atty. Christian Flores, chief of accounts management, for efficiently handling renewal applications.
The BOC-AMO, under the supervision of Intelligence Group Deputy Commissioner Juvymax Uy, said it fostered a more conducive business environment to reflect the agency’s commitment to the business community and ensure that businesses can operate smoothly and effectively.
The PCBAP and the CCBI also commended the BOC-AMO for handling Customs Brokers' registration and renewal procedures, noting the office's commitment to addressing system issues and delays.
They also cited the BOC-AMO's approach to resolving accreditation application challenges, which has led to faster approvals for new and renewed applications.
Special recognition was awarded to Atty. Christian Flores and Assistant Chief Bartley Earl M. Floresca for their exceptional contributions. These organizations praised their dedication, professionalism, and strong work ethic.
The BOC-AMO, under the leadership of BOC Commissioner Bienvenido Y. Rubio, said it will remain committed to embracing transformative reforms, transparency, accountability, and efficiency that will not only modernize the bureau's processes but also foster a culture of continuous improvement and exceptional service.
