A GRAND DISPLAY Celebrating its first year of operations, Lakehall at Nena's Sanctuary has proven itself to be a grand venue for hosting unforgettable occasions

Lakehall at Nena’s Sanctuary has grown to be one of the most extravagant event spaces outside the Metro. Located within Sta. Elena Estates in Sta. Rosa Laguna, only a 50-minute drive away, it has become a favorable location for hosting special occasions, family gatherings, weddings, and other unforgettable experiences. Recently celebrating its one-year milestone, not even the gloomy weather could put a damper on the special occasion.

Upon entry, the venue’s large space is an impressive sight to take in. Its scale reminds you of just how grand things can be. Throughout the celebration, guests were treated to a series of creative groups providing their expertise to create a memorable experience. Each table had quite a display, feeling as if a mini jungle had come to life from all the greenery and flowers. It was thanks to the trio of Nena Tantoco’s Tree of Thanks and Giving, Pat Pastelero Tanedo’s Spruce, and Cyndi Fernandez’s Moss Manila that truly brought life to the venue’s halls.

Lunchtime had guests visiting every corner of the space to try various treats and delicacies. It’s hard not to forget just how mouthwatering the wait for a slice off the rack of lamb was. Just as pleasant to the taste buds was the osso buco, quite the soft, savory treat that can send anyone in a blissful food coma. For drinks, the Pilgrim’s Coffee Shop cart setup provides exceptional coffee and a cute, Instagrammable setup that looks pulled straight from a Parisian film. Those in the mood for a stronger kick had the pleasure of being treated to exciting mixed drinks from Fun Cocktails PH. The Lavender Haze mix provided quite the tropical punch with its use of lemon orange and pineapple.

What’s next for the prestigious event space? Among the plans for the venue’s future is the highly-anticipated opening of Rico’s Café, a dining experience aimed at blending Eastern and Western influences. It intends to showcase the diverse landscapes, regions, and heritage of the Philippines through a unique culinary concept referred to as “Finopino.” There’s also the introduction of Lakehall Banquet, a bespoke service offering exclusive in-house catering and styling tailored to the tastes and preferences of its clients. Created through a collaboration with Chef Erika Ordoveza, it provides a menu of contemporary Asian and Western cuisines to fit diverse themes and celebrations. Offered by Lakehall Banquet as well are comprehensive event management services that encompass venue arrangements, culinary delights, décor styling, entertainment, and more for a seamless experience for all event needs.
