Heroes were plenty for the Road Warriors with guys Robbie Herndon, Richie Rodger and Jhan Nermal delivering critical hits in the extra period to support the bounce back games from import Myke Henry and Robert Bolick.

Henry, limited to just 21 points in the loss to Rain or Shine, made sure to limit his fouls and stayed on the court to be effective with 33 points, six rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks but got much-needed help for NLEX to keep SMB at bay.

Nermal scored a huge and-1 play early in the overtime before Rodger, struggling in regulation, scored back-to-back deuces to keep the Road Warriors head above the water despite the answers from the Beermen in June Mar Fajardo and import Jordan Adams.

Herndon, however, delivered a clutch triple to make it 110-106 with 28.2 seconds left. Adam kept SMB within striking distance with a layup but the Beermen couldn’t pull the stop as Bolick iced the game with a pair of free throws.
