2 HVIs wanted for illegal drugs nabbed in Las Piñas

Two drug suspects listed as high value individuals (HVIs) were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Las Piñas City on Thursday, August 29.

The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspects as "Bayan," 37, and "Bainot," 32.

The two were arrested along Marcos Alvarez Avenue, Barangay Talon Uno, Las Piñas City.

Las Piñas City police chief Col. Sandro Tafalla said the suspects were arrested by a combined team of Southern Police District- District Drug Enforcement Unit, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Southern District Office (PDEA-SDO), and Las Piñas City Police Talon Substation.

The two yielded P340,000 worth of shabu.

Tafalla said illegal possession of drugs will be filed against the suspects before the Las Piñas City Prosecutor's Office.
