A total of 73 job applicants were hired on-the-spot during the conduct of "World Café of Opportunities” mega job fair by the Pasay City government on Thursday, August 29.

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the mega job fair was conducted in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Technical Education Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and 6th national Tech-Voc Day.
A total of 31 companies participated in the job fair that offered 4,000 job openings, especially for those who finished technical-vocational courses.
One-stop shops from national government agencies like the Philippine Statistic Authority (PSA), Social Security system (SSS), Pag-ibig, Overseas Workers and Welfare Administration (OWWA), Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), and TESDA set-up their booths to help job applicants on the documents they need in applying for a job.
