Two men were apprehended by authorities after stealing a motorcycle in Binangonan, Rizal.

The suspects, identified as "Mar" and "Ian," were arrested on Thursday, August 29, following an operation conducted by the Binangonan Municipal Police Station and the Rizal Provincial Intelligence Unit.
According to the statement of the 23-year-old victim, he parked his motorcycle outside his house in Binangonan, Rizal, at around 9 p.m. on Friday, August 23.
After that, the victim went to San Antonio, Pasig City, for the long weekend. However, upon returning home on Wednesday, August 28, he discovered that his motorcycle was missing.
The victim immediately sought assistance and reported the incident to the authorities.
Authorities reviewed the footage from the closed-circuit television (CCTV), and saw the suspects around the area on Saturday, August 24, and were later caught stealing the motorcycle.
Through the CCTV, the police immediately identified the suspects and conducted a follow-up operation, which led to their arrest.
The suspects are now detained at the Binangonan Custodial Facility and are facing charges for violating Republic Act 10883, or the New Anti-Carnapping Law of 2016.
