Motorists in QC to experience heavy traffic due to 'White Cane Walk 2024'

Motorists were advised of the heavy traffic ahead of the upcoming “White Cane Walk 2024” on Sunday, August 4.

Quezon City’s Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) will hold the event at 6 a.m. onwards, the city government said.

Heavy traffic is expected along Quezon City Hall Gate 1 and 2, Elliptical Road, Quezon City Memorial Circle (QMC), Kalayaan Avenue, Matalino Street, and East Avenue.

Personnel of the Traffic and Transport Management Department (TTMD) and the Department of Public Orders and Safety (DPOS) have coordinated to manage the traffic flow in the areas.

The city government advised all motorists to take alternative routes.
