Three top most wanted persons were arrested by the police in Taguig on Southern Police District’s so-called Warrant Day.
On Aug. 2, the Taguig Police served a warrant of arrest on alias Marlon, 42, in Arca South, Western Bicutan, Taguig.

He is listed as No. 9 on the Taguig Police’s most wanted persons list for August. The accused has a pending warrant of arrest for alleged violations of Republic Act 3019 (Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act) and falsification under the Revised Penal Code docketed under criminal cases.
The warrant of arrest was issued on July 30 by Associate Justice Rafael Lagos of the 5th Division of Sandiganbayan with P126,000 recommended bail.
On the same day along Veterans Road, Barangay Western Bicutan, Taguig, the same police personnel apprehended alias Jane, 45, tagged as No. 10 among top most wanted persons for August.
She is accused of violating Republic Act 3019 and for falsification. The warrant of arrest was also issued by Lagos with P126,000 recommended bail.
Meanwhile, personnel of the Taguig Police Substation 6 served a warrant of arrest against alias Brill, 38, No. 3 most wanted person for August, in Central Signal Village Taguig. He is facing a case for homicide.
The warrant was issued by Presiding Judge Mariam Bien of the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 153 on July 16.
All the three accused are temporarily detained at the custodial facility of the Taguig Police while a return of the warrants of arrest is being prepared to notify the issuing courts.
