Parts of Rizal to have no water from August 28 to 30


At least four localities in Rizal province will have no water for six to eight hours between August 28 to 30 following the scheduled maintenance of Manila Water.

In Antipolo City, Saidi Road, Taktak Road, Daang Bakal, Sitio Sampaguita, Luzville, Villa Cristina, Baltao Subdivisio, Saidi Formation Center, Nagkakaisang Mahihirap ng Daang Bakal, all located in Barangay Dela Paz, will have water service interruption from 10 p.m. on August 28, Wednesday, up to 5 a.m. on August 29, Thursday due to Manila Water’s line meter replacement activities in the areas.

In Binangonan, some areas in Barangay Tatala, Mambog, Macamot and Barangay Kalawaan (lower and upper Kasinay, Mabuhay Homes) and Barangay Pantok (Mabuhay Homes) will also experience disruption on the water service from 10 p.m. on August 28 until 4 a.m. on August 29 as Manila Water will be doing a valve maintenance work at the Mabuhay Pumping Station.

Also in Cainta, Taytay, the same period of water interruption will happen in some areas in Barangay San Juan (Victoria Avenue, Sitio Victoria, Crimson Road, Canella, Amihan, Apollo, S. Fabian, and Samonte in Cainta and at Amihan and Apollo in some parts of San Juan in Taytay from 10 p.m. on August 28 until 4 a.m. on August 29 as a result of the line maintenance activity of Manila Water.

On August 29, a portion of Antipolo City’s Barangay Dalig (Avida Subdivision) and Villa Consolacion in Barangay San Jose will also have no water from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. on August 30 following the line maintenance works. 

Affected areas are encouraged to store enough water for the duration of the water service disruption.
