Ilonggo artists join charity exhibit in Iloilo City

ILOILO CITY – Five Ilonggo artists joined a charity exhibit held by hotel chain Marriott here.

Melvin Guirhem, Kristoffer Brasileño, Tyrone Dave Espinosa, Orland Espinosa, and Jeanroll Ejar have works for a cause at Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo.

The exhibit that runs until August 31 is part the “Art of Giving: Make it your piece of Heart,” a project with Rotary Club Passport One, Marriott Hotel Manila, and Marriott Worldwide Business Councils-The Philippines.

Portion of the proceeds from the exhibit that also features the works of guest artist Sam Penaso will be given to the chosen beneficiary of Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo.

Launched last November 2022, the exhibit also has a counterpart at Marriott Hotel Manila with the works of artists Celeste Lecaroz, Raymond Cruz, Jovel Ruivivar, Fil Dumalo III, Manny Buñag, Meroy Castrillo, Eugie Varona dela Cruz, and Joelito Pagalan.
