Gilas Pilipinas star Jack Animam brings her talent to Romania after signing with FCC UAV Arad, the team announced on its social media post.

The 25-year-old Animam is set to play for Arad which was one of the most successful teams in the Liga Națională (National League) în Romania with nine championships.
“Our club and player Jack Danielle Animam have reached an agreement to collaborate in the 2024-2025 season!” Arad wrote.
“Welcome to Arad, Jack Danielle!” it added.
The Romanian club serves as the sixth overseas team for the five-time UAAP champion since she started playing abroad in 2021.
In the previous years, Animam had stints in Serbia, France, China and Australia where she last competed for Ringwood Hawks in NBL1.
Animam, who led the Nationals in the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup Pre-Qualifiers, averaged 13 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2 blocks and 1.7 steals in three games against Brazil, Senegal and Hungary, which was the eventual Rwanda leg champion.
Gilas Pilipinas went home winless in the qualifying stage.
