Her sibling Shiela Leal Guo confirmed this during the tripartite Senate hearing of the Committees on Justice and Human Rights; Women, Children, Family Relations and Gender Equality; and Public Services on Tuesday, Aug. 27.

In response to the question posed by Senator Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa, Shiela said that she, together with siblings Alice and Wesley were fetched from their farm in Bamban, Tarlac by a van just after dinner around 7:08 p.m. before arriving at a port to board a small white boat around midnight.

According to Shiela, inside the van were two people: a driver and another person she could not identify.

Hours later, Shiela told Senator Risa Hontiveros that they transferred to a much larger boat with fishing nets just before the break of dawn. She added that before they arrived in Malaysia, they again moved to a green or blue-colored boat.

Shiela stated that at first, she was clueless and thought the three of them would only be going on a trip since Alice only asked her to accompany her somewhere but she had no choice when she found out that they were leaving the country and they were already at sea.

Asked if she brought her Philippine passport with her when she went to their farm in Tarlac, Shiela said that her passport had always been with Alice. Shiela resides in Bulacan.

Shiela arrived with Alice and Wesley in Malaysia, which based on the records, was on July 18. After this, they went to Singapore. According to her, they went to Indonesia because Wesley was getting bored.

Before being caught by Indonesian authorities, Shiela said that they were about to go back to Singapore so they could eventually go to Hong Kong. She said that Cassandra Li Ong was left with her because she could not speak English.

Alice Guo's whereabouts

Shiela told Senate President Pro Tempore Jinggoy Estrada that she and Alice parted ways in Indonesia before the former was arrested without telling her where she was heading on Aug. 19 or 20.

"Sabi niya lang sakin: 'hiwalay muna ate', tapos tanong ko siya saan siya punta, sabi niya sa akin: 'huwag daw ako alamin' (She just told me: 'let's separate for the meantime' then when I asked her where she's going, she told me: 'don't ask me')," she told the senators.

Before she was apprehended, she said that Alice was still in Indonesia.

Relationship with Alice

Shiela said that Jian Zhong Guo which she calls "daddy" introduced Alice as her sister when she arrived in the Philippines in 2001.
