Police Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky, Police Regional Office-6 chief, has approved the deployment of personnel from the Civil Disturbance Management (CDM) unit of the Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) and the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO).
Their main task is crowd control but Wanky said they can also augment forces looking for Quiboloy and his companions.
They are just awaiting a C-130 aircraft of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) that would take them to Davao City.
“They are prepared to go anytime,” said Police Lt. Col. Arnel Solis, PRO-6 chief information officer.
