Teenage girl, pals yield P1.3-M shabu


BACOLOD CITY – Three persons, including a minor, were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Purok 1, Barangay Nayon, San Enrique, Negros Occidental on Friday, August 23.

Police identified the suspects as Tol, 42, of Bago City, Negros Occidental; and a 22-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl, both residents of Valladolid town, Negros Occidental.

The Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit-Western Visayas said Tol and the 22-year-old suspect were nabbed after they sold suspected shabu worth P12,000 to a police asset.

They were tagged as high-value individuals in the illegal drugs trade and the minor was considered a street-level individual.

Recovered from the suspects were 205 grams of shabu worth P1.3 million, digital weighing scale, an improvised tooter, P1,100 cash, and non-drug items. 

Police are preparing the filing of drug charges against the suspects.
