2 bodies found floating on river in Dagupan City

DAGUPAN CITY â€“ Two bodies were found floating on the Pantal River here on Sunday.

The bodies were found 100 meters away from each other and approximately 18 to 40 years of age.

Dagupan health officer Dr. Maria Julita Paras de Venecia declared these persons dead.

Initial findings said they died from asphyxia due to drowning.

Police are conducting follow-up investigation and coordinating with adjacent police stations for possible identification of victims.
