Pasay LGU to launch overseas job fair

The Pasay City government is inviting city residents who want to work abroad to join the overseas job fair to be held at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Music Hall on August 27.

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the activity prepared by the Public employment and Services Offices (PESO) will be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The PESO, in coordination with the Rotary Club of Pasay MIA, Junior Chamber International Philippines (JCI) Manilena, and PRIME alliance offer free placement fee in the  job fair.

Rubiano said the applicants will be oriented about safe migration processes to avoid being victimized by scammers and illegal recruiters.

A total of 24 companies will be joining the overseas job fair for deployment in Asia, Africa, Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Middle East and America.
