Pasay LGU recognized at Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index 2024

The Pasay City government was recognized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) with six awards in the 2024 Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index.

The city was ranked Top 3 in the over-all Most Competitive Highly Urbanized Cities in the National Capital Region (NCR) during the awarding night held at Manila Hotel on August 23.

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the city government was also awarded with Top 2 most competitive in the Economic Dynamism Pillar; Top 2 for Infrastructure Pillas; Top 3 for government efficiency pillar, Top 3 for innovation pillar Top 4 for resiliency pillar.

She explained that the city government received the awards based on the sum of their scores on five pillars, namely economic dynamism, government efficiency, infrastructure, resiliency, and innovation. 

The local chief executive said the awards will serve as an inspiration for them to continue to give better services to her constituents.
