Manila police seize P32.3-M shabu in Sta. Ana, Tondo

The Manila Police District (MPD) seized P32.3 million worth of shabu from four men in separate buy-bust operations in Sta. Ana and Tondo, Manila, on Friday, August 23.
According to the police report, two suspects were arrested at the corner of Del Pilar and M. Roxas Streets in Sta. Ana at 9:55 p.m. after selling illegal drugs to a poseur buyer.
Police identified the suspect as Ardie Severa, 39, and Jhon-Jhon Damil, 30, both residents of Malate, Manila.
Five kilograms of alleged shabu were seized from the suspects.
Arresting officers also confiscated from their possession a hand grenade, and a .45-caliber pistol, and a. 38-caliber gun loaded with live ammunition.
The two suspects face charges for violation of Republic Acts 9165 (The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), 10591 (illegal possession of firearms and ammunition) and 9516 (illegal possession of explosive).
Meanwhile, a total of P350,000 worth suspected shabu placed in four plastic sachets were confiscated from two suspects in an anti-criminality operation on Tayuman Street in Barangay 234, Tondo.
MPD identified the suspects as Al Jabbar Alonto 41, of Imus, Cavite and Reniel Abarcar, 32, of Quezon City.
They are currently detained at the custody of MPD Station Drug Enforcement Unit and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165.
