'Futurama' star Katey Sagal, Mark Harelik join season 2 of Netflix's 'One Piece'

Netflix announced new cast members who will join the upcoming season 2 of the live-action series “One Piece.”

They are actress Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha, Mark Harelik as Dr. Hiriluk, Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefertari Cobra, and Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday.

Sagal is known as the voice of Leela in the animated sitcom “Futurama.” She also starred in “Sons of Anarchy,” “The Conners,” and “Married with Children.”

Harelik starred in “Presumed Innocent,” “Preacher” and “Battle of the Sexes.”

Ramamurthy appeared in “Never Have I Ever” and “Do Aur Do Pyaar” while Chandran is in “Bridgerton.”

The four joined previously announced new cast Brendan Sean Murray as Brogy, Callum Kerr as Smoker, Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5, Clive Russell as Crocus, Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9, David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, Julia Rehwald as Tashigi, Rob Colletti as Wapol, Ty Keogh as Dalton, and Werner Coetser as Dorry.

The returning cast members are Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy,, Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, Ilia Isorelys Paulino as Alvida, Jeff Ward as Buggy, and Michael Dorman as Gold Roger.

Additional cast members will be announced later by Netflix. Season 2 of “One Piece” is currently being filmed in Cape Town, South Africa

“One Piece” is a live-action pirate adventure created in partnership with Shueisha and produced by Tomorrow Studios and Netflix. It is based on Japan’s highest-selling manga series in history by Eiichiro Oda.
