A man was arrested by the police during a buy-bust operation involving suspected shabu in Taguig on Aug. 22.
The buy-bust operation was conducted by the Taguig Police Drug Enforcement Unit in Barangay Fort Bonifacio that resulted in the arrest of a suspect, identified as alias Alexander, 48.
During the operation, the police seized nine plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 30.46 grams valued at P207,128, and a genuine P500 bill and six P1,000 boodle money, all used as buy-bust money.

The confiscated items will be submitted to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit for laboratory examination.
The suspect will face a complaint for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) that will be filed with the Taguig City Prosecutor's Office.
