Bayanihan sa Barangay: Bulacan residents receive free medical assistance

Residents of Malolos, Bulacan received medicines, medical, and dental consultations through the Bayanihan sa Barangay project in Cofradia Village on Thursday, August 22.

Malolos City government provided free basic services to 27 needy households, including medical consultations, X-rays, medicines, dental check-ups, extractions, and dentures.

They also provided Free legal consultation from the City Legal Office, a seminar on Meat Processing which can be used in making Siomai and Dumplings; Chair Massage and free haircut from the City Training, Employment, and Cooperative Office; free vegetable seeds such as Pechay, Saluyot, Tamarind, Eggplant, and Beans from City Agriculture Office.

There are also Free anti-rabies vaccination and purification for pet dogs from the City Veterinary Office; Free application for those who want to study under the Alternative Learning System of Deped - ALS Malolos; Basic Training on Disaster Preparedness and distribution of Listo Maloleño Book and Emergency Hotlines brought by City Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office.

The City Government also donated wheelchairs, office chairs and tables, flashlights, two-way intercom radio, computer sets, blood pressure machines, blood sugar checkers, and many others for the officers of Barangay Cofradia. 

In line with the said program is the inauguration of the new Barangay Hall and the village’s Multipurpose Building.

Present at the event were Mayor Christian Natividad, Vice Mayor Miguel Alberto T. Bautista with City Councilors Niño Carlo Bautista, John Vincent "JV" Vitug, Victorino "Troi" Aldaba III, Michael M. Aquino, ABC President Vicente “Jun” Cruz, City Administrator Joel S. Eugenio, Chief of Staff Fernando Durupa, Executive Assistant IV Omar S. Magno and Heads of Offices in Malolos City.
