The 2024 DTI Bagong Pilipinas National Trade Fair (NTF) will take place from August 21 to 25 at the Megatrade Halls 1-3 of SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City. Organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) through the Bureau of Market Development, Promotions, and OTOP (BMDPO), the fair serves as a premier platform for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to present their unique products to a broader market.
This year's NTF will highlight a wide array of local delicacies, with a special emphasis on artisanal food items that reflect the diverse culinary heritage of the Philippines. From Halal-certified products to innovative coconut-based foods, the fair offers a taste of the country's finest regional flavors. Visitors can also explore the KAPEtirya Coffee Pavilion, where local coffee varieties and blends will be showcased, alongside other food innovations that underscore the fair's commitment to promoting sustainable and locally-sourced ingredients.
Beyond food, the NTF will feature a variety of non-food products, including home furnishings, holiday decor, and personal care items made from sustainable materials such as bamboo, natural fibers, and native grass. Business matching and networking activities will also be available, offering MSMEs opportunities to connect with institutional buyers and expand their markets.
DTI Acting Secretary Cristina A. Roque emphasized the significance of the event, stating, "The DTI-Bagong Pilipinas National Trade Fair is a testament to our commitment to supporting the growth and development of MSMEs in the Philippines. We invite everyone to join us in celebrating the ingenuity and creativity of our local entrepreneurs and discover the best of what the Philippines has to offer."
The NTF is open to the public with free admission. For more information, follow the official social media pages @BDTP on Facebook, @DTI_BDTP on X, and @dti.bdtp on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
